The introduction of hair sheep, or preferably, meat sheep in the late 1990's has brought a new agricultural opportunity to the farmers of our region. The foothills of the Appalachian Mountains lend itself well to the raising of sheep. The abundant grass and rolling terrain provide the perfect environment for production of fast growing excellent tasting lamb. On the Lyttle Farm of Copper Ridge, we raise a cross-breed of Kathadin/Dorper and product a quality lamb product. We use naturally grown, rotational grazing methods. Our lamb is a grass-fed and USDA inspected product. We package our lamb products in individually vacuum-sealed bags. Then the meat is quick frozen for a fresh quality product. Our hope is to introduce you to the exceptional quality of our lamb products and allow you to support your local agricultural economy and your local farmers.

Our free-range fresh brown eggs are from free-ranging hens that are roaming, scratching, perching and nesting as they please. Our eggs are produced from hens fed only all-natural grain with no animal by-products.

We currently manage about 6.5 acres of vegetable garden each year. Specializing in the production of naturally grown produce for the local consumer including: Potatoes, Heirloom tomatoes, summer squach, zucchini, cucumbers, swiss chard, sweet corn, green peppers, fruits (peaches, blueberries, and grapes).  Utilizing natural growing practices we produce Concord and Concord seedless variety table grapes. Some from plants as old as 75 years.

Using these grapes we also produce for sale at local farmers' markets: grape jam. In addition to the table grapes,we have a small greenhouse operation specializing in vegetable bedding plants and naturally grown herbs. We also provide a cut-your-own culinary herb garden at the local farmers' markets. We have many value-added items also available. Some of these products include: peach jam, grape jam, lavender sachets, lavender and cedar sachets, honey, and lavender milk bath. Our products can be found at local farmers' markets, through online orders, or at the farm (by appointment only).
